Job Overview:

Our client is looking for a talented and detail-oriented Residential Architectural Drafter (ArchiCAD) to support their design-build operations. In this role, you will play a crucial part in producing high-quality architectural drawings, collaborating closely with partners, and ensuring the seamless execution of residential design projects in a remote environment.

Pacific Crest Design and Build is a premier residential design-build firm dedicated to creating exceptional living spaces. The team operates collaboratively and remotely, integrating architecture, interior design, and construction operations to deliver seamless project execution from concept to completion.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday, Flexible Hours (aligned with Los Angeles, CA business hours) (40 work hours per week)

Responsibilities:

• Produce and refine residential architectural drawings and construction documentation using ArchiCAD.
• Support the architect partner (Kyle) with drafting, design development, and project revisions.
• Prepare permit-ready and construction-ready drawing sets for residential design-build projects.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders, including collaborating with the interior designer partner and staff regarding interior elevations and schedules, to ensure drawings reflect current design intent.
• Assist with construction estimating tasks, takeoffs, and business development project documentation as needed.
• Provide visualizations and rendering support to enhance project presentations.
• Maintain organized project files and ensure version control across all documentation.

Requirements:

• Working proficiency in ArchiCAD with a portfolio demonstrating residential project experience.
• Background in residential architecture, construction documentation, or a related design discipline.
• Strong understanding of building codes, construction methods, and drawing standards.
• High level of attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, clean drawings.
• Ability to work independently, manage flexible hours efficiently, and meet deadlines in a remote work environment.
• Strong written communication skills for coordinating with team members across time zones using tools such as Teams.
