Our client is seeking a B2B Digital Marketing Specialist (Food Service Industry) to drive brand awareness and execute digital marketing initiatives for a growing fresh-produce technology business. This role combines website management, SEO, social media marketing, and B2B campaign execution to engage large food chains, fast food companies, and other commercial customers across international markets. As part of an early-stage startup, you'll play a key role in establishing the company's online presence and supporting its global expansion.

Client Overview

Our client is an emerging agritech company introducing a platform that connects growers directly with businesses through hydroponic farming solutions. With operations initially focused on New Zealand and Australia, the company plans to expand into additional international markets, including the Bahamas. As the business prepares for its website launch and commercial rollout, they are looking for a marketing professional who can help build its digital presence and support long-term growth.

Schedule

  • Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM or 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM NZST (20 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies targeting large food chains and fast food companies globally.
  • Build and maintain the company website using the designated platform and ensure optimal performance.
  • Implement SEO strategies to improve search engine rankings and drive website traffic.
  • Create and manage social media content across multiple platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and Meta, to build community engagement.
  • Coordinate marketing efforts across New Zealand, Australia, and international markets.
  • Collaborate with the design team to ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials.
  • Track marketing performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Support the launch phase with a dedicated focus on establishing initial market presence.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in digital marketing with a focus on B2B marketing to large food chains or fast food companies.
  • Strong proficiency in website management and content management systems.
  • Demonstrated expertise in SEO and search engine optimization strategies.
  • Excellent experience managing social media platforms and community engagement.
  • Strong communication skills for coordinating across international markets.
  • Ability to work independently during the startup phase with minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility to adapt to rapidly changing business needs and growth.

Nice to have

  • Experience marketing fresh produce, food technology, or agricultural products.
  • Background in graphic design or ability to collaborate closely with design teams.
  • Familiarity with marketing to cruise ship operations or international food service chains.
  • Experience working remotely with teams across multiple time zones.
  • Knowledge of the New Zealand and Australian food industry markets.
