Job Overview
Our client is seeking a versatile, Trilingual Regional Designer & Marketing Translator to drive our retention marketing (CRM and email) localization efforts across key European markets. Moving away from an expensive external agency model, you will act as an embedded, long-term operational resource. You will not only translate English marketing copy into localized French, German, and Dutch but will also directly apply those updates within our creative design layouts.
Responsibilities
- Creative Localization: Transcreate and translate English retention marketing copy, CRM communications, and email assets into highly accurate, engaging French, German, and Dutch.
- Design Execution & Asset Updates: Directly apply translated copy into creative assets, adjusting typography, text boxes, and layouts to ensure seamless visual formatting.
- Template Customization: Build or adjust promotional assets (e.g., 25% off sale emails) from scratch or utilizing existing brand templates and strict guidelines.
- Cultural Context Evaluation: Review localized campaign deployment from a cultural perspective to maintain global brand integrity while optimizing for local conversions.
- Global Workflow Tracking: Independently manage and track tasks across multiple language tracks using internal project management tools.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Linguistic Fluency: Professional-grade or native proficiency in French, German, Dutch, and English.
- Design Expertise: Strong proficiency in Figma and Adobe Photoshop with a portfolio showcasing digital design, typography layout, or asset creation. (nice to have - not required)
- Marketing Experience: Clear understanding of email marketing campaign structures and CRM asset requirements.
- Scope & Availability: Part-time commitment (minimum 20 hours/week). Must be comfortable with an operational schedule that allows for syncs with US-based (Colorado) marketing management.
