Job Overview
Our client is looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Senior Multi-Entity Accountant (QuickBooks) to manage complex financial operations across multiple entities under a fiduciary umbrella. In this role, you will oversee the full accounting lifecycle—from stabilizing and restoring historical financial records to generating accurate monthly financial statements and maintaining key metric dashboards. This position is ideal for an organized finance professional who can fluidly handle general ledger reconciliation, payroll, cash flow tracking, and reporting while operating independently under remote direction.
Schedule
Monday - Friday, Flexible during client business hours PST (40 work hours per week)
Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate monthly and quarterly financial statements, ensuring timely reporting for fiduciary and management review.
- Reconcile the general ledger, finalize trial balances, and reconcile all bank, credit card, and loan accounts.
- Manage cash flow and monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable cycles to maintain healthy revenue operations.
- Build and maintain financial dashboards in Excel to track KPIs such as revenue per client and gross margins.
- Organize and restore financial records that fell into disarray during a staffing transition to bring all documentation up to date.
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing, tax document preparation, and contract service agreement reconciliations.
- Collaborate with the fiduciary team using an EMS system for time tracking, document management, and on-demand reporting.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in accounting or senior bookkeeping.
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks for day-to-day accounting and financial management.
- Strong Excel skills with the demonstrated ability to create financial models, dashboards, and reports.
- Experience working across multiple entities, service-based corporate environments, or small businesses.
- High level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills to track varied client portfolios.
- Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and deliver results with minimal supervision.
- Professional written and verbal English communication skills to deliver timely financial updates to leadership.
