Job overview

We are seeking an Construction Estimator (Takeoffs & Groundplan)  to perform takeoffs and data entry for commercial construction projects. The role involves working with Groundplan software paired with the company's job management system. This position requires 20 hours per week with the potential to transition to full-time in the future.

Schedule

• Mon-Fri 20 hours per week (flexible hours to be determined)  Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST/AEDT)

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate takeoffs from general plans for commercial and industrial projects
• Complete data entry into Groundplan software system
• Submit completed estimates within assigned deadlines
• Maintain accuracy and attention to detail across all project estimates
• Coordinate with management to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks

Must-Have Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an estimator in construction or related industry
• Proficiency with takeoff software and estimation tools
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with the team on project requirements

Nice-To-Have Requirements

• Experience with Groundplan software
• Background in plumbing or mechanical estimating for commercial projects
