Job Description

We are seeking a creative and proactive Social Media Assistant to own our digital presence across Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. You will be responsible for the full social media lifecycle, from high-quality video and graphic production to direct audience interaction and lead qualification.

Schedule

• 40h per week based on Central Time zone business hours

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain a consistent brand presence across all major social media platforms.
• Create and produce engaging social media content, including video editing and graphic assets.
• Repurpose existing podcast and sports content across multiple platforms to maximize reach.
• Monitor and respond to direct messages, filtering and qualifying inbound leads.
• Research and engage with potential influencers and partnership opportunities to expand audience.
• Support marketing operations with the creation of newsletters, brochures, and scheduling.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing multiple social media platforms simultaneously.
• Strong content creation skills, including video editing and visual storytelling.
• Excellent written communication skills with a sharp eye for brand consistency.
• Ability to work independently and manage complex tasks with minimal supervision.
• High level of attention to detail and strong organizational capabilities.
• Bonus if you are familiar with sports media, entertainment content, or Detroit sports teams.
• It helps if you have experience in digital lead generation and audience engagement strategies.
