Overview:

We are an established online education and content business specializing in tutorials, courses, and books, with a 15-year presence on YouTube. We serve a global audience across the UK, the US, and Australia. We are looking for a creative Social Media Content Assistant (Short-Form Video & Lead Generation) to help us grow our digital presence by repurposing our extensive library of educational content. In this role, you'll transform long-form tutorials into engaging, high-impact short-form content for Instagram and TikTok while managing audience interactions and fostering community engagement.

Schedule: Part-time, flexible anytime - UK (GMT/BST) | 20 work hours per week

Responsibilities:

• Repurpose existing long-form tutorial content into engaging short-form videos for Instagram and TikTok
• Schedule and publish content consistently across multiple social media platforms
• Monitor and respond to direct messages to qualify inbound leads
• Create visually compelling video assets that drive traffic to courses and books
• Maintain brand consistency and voice across all social media channels
• Identify high-value segments from an existing content library for new assets
• Support lead generation efforts through proactive social media direct messaging
• Collaborate on content ideas and maintain a consistent posting schedule

Requirements:

• Proven experience creating short-form video content for social media platforms
• Basic proficiency in Excel for content tracking and reporting
• Strong attention to detail with an ability to adapt to British English conventions
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Good verbal and written English communication skills
• Bonus if you have experience with educational or tutorial-based content
• It helps if you have a background in lead qualification through social media
