This is a part-time customer service and administrative role focused on handling inbound customer inquiries, processing service bookings, and managing client communications for a pest control business. The role requires someone who can work independently on weekends after an initial two-week training period during weekdays. The position involves using CRM software, handling phone calls through a softphone system, and managing online inquiries to schedule pest control services.

Client Overview

Our client is a growing pest control service company operating in the Canadian market. They are looking to expand their customer support coverage to include weekend availability and require a dedicated resource to handle bookings and client inquiries.

Schedule

  • Saturday - Monday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Eastern Time (20 work hours per week)

  • Note: First two weeks training will be Monday - Friday, 4 hours/day with a flexible schedule between 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM Eastern Time.

Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound customer calls and respond to website inquiries to book pest control service appointments.
  • Enter customer information and service bookings into the PestPac CRM system accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide pricing quotes to customers and process service requests through the booking system.
  • Communicate with customers via phone and email to confirm appointments and answer service-related questions.
  • Coordinate with the operations team to ensure proper scheduling and service delivery.

Must-Have Requirements

  • Excellent English communication skills for clear phone and email interactions with customers.
  • Previous experience in customer service or administrative roles with phone support responsibilities.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and booking platforms.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software systems quickly.
  • Availability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) plus one weekday after training period.

Nice-To-Have Requirements

  • Prior experience in the pest control industry or service-based businesses.
  • Experience with PestPac CRM software or similar industry-specific platforms.
