Job Overview
Our client is building a pipeline of skilled contractors to support their data operations through a structured, two-phased remote career path. Every professional begins in Phase 1 (Data Entry), learning the operational foundations of the business by parsing inspection reports, executing high-volume data inputs, and mastering strict corporate standards. Upon demonstrating consistent tracking accuracy and speed, you will graduate into Phase 2 (Quality Control Specialist). In this advanced auditing phase, your responsibilities shift to reviewing, correcting, and confirming the report queues completed by newer team members and external BPO vendors.

Note: Operations are aligned with Lisle, IL time zone.
Responsibilities
- Phase 1 (Data Entry & Foundation - First 1.5 to 2 Months): Enter technical information from fire and life-safety inspection reports into the internal corporate system; process a high-volume, steady queue of records daily; strictly follow established operational rules for handling incomplete, unclear, or complex documents.
- Phase 2 (Quality Control Specialist - Upon Transition): Review and audit data entered by newer contractors and external vendor partners against original inspection records; verify that all required data architecture fields are error-free and complete.
- Error Mitigation: Systematically identify, track, and correct data discrepancies, including missing fields, incorrect values, and transcription mismatches.
- Technical Escalation: Isolate and escalate highly complex records requiring specialized managerial intervention.
Requirements
- Attention to Detail: Deep care for structural accuracy with a natural ability to catch minute discrepancies, formatting errors, and missing metrics.
- Operational Endurance: High level of dependability and focus required to maintain steady daily output while processing repetitive, volume-driven data queues.
- Coachability: Proactive attitude toward following technical feedback, applying process guidelines immediately, and adapting to shifting system procedures.
- Linguistic Standard: Clear written communication skills to accurately flag operational issues and articulate system problems to leadership.
Qualifications
- Prior professional experience in data entry, records management, back-office processing, or quality assurance is preferred but not strictly required.
