Digital Marketing & Web Operations Specialist

Role Overview: We are looking for a detail-oriented Digital Marketing & Web Operations Specialist to support multiple client accounts across SEO, AEO, local SEO, Google Business Profile management, paid media support, website maintenance, social media management, content, copywriting, and creative asset coordination.

This role is best suited for someone with agency experience who can manage recurring marketing tasks, keep client work organized, communicate clearly, and help move projects forward without needing constant supervision.

The candidate should be comfortable working across multiple accounts and services while maintaining high quality and strong follow-through.

Responsibilities will vary depending on client requirements, project priorities, and the agency's workload.

Areas of Responsibility:

  • SEO, AEO, and Local SEO

    • Perform client SEO audits covering on-page SEO, technical SEO, content, local SEO, and off-page opportunities

       

    • Conduct keyword research, competitor research, and content gap analysis

       

    • Support SEO and AEO strategies designed to improve visibility in Google search, local search, and AI-influenced search results

       

    • Optimize page titles, meta descriptions, headers, internal links, image alt text, and content structure

       

    • Identify technical SEO issues and coordinate fixes with the web/development team when needed

       

    • Support schema, structured content, FAQ content, and entity-based optimization when applicable

       

    • Track keyword rankings, organic traffic, conversions, and SEO performance

       

    • Prepare regular SEO reports and performance summaries

  • Google Business Profile Management

    • Manage and optimize Google Business Profile listings
    • Update services, categories, descriptions, images, posts, products, and business information
    • Support review generation and review response workflows
    • Monitor GBP performance, local rankings, and profile activity
    • Maintain NAP consistency and identify citation/local listing issues
  • Google Ads and PPC Support

    • Assist with Google Ads account monitoring and reporting
    • Review campaign performance, search terms, keywords, budgets, conversions, and basic optimization opportunities
    • Help draft ad copy, landing page recommendations, and reporting summaries
    • Flag tracking, conversion, budget, or performance issues for review
    • Coordinate PPC-related tasks with internal team members or specialists as needed
  • Paid Social Support

    • Support paid social campaigns across platforms such as Meta, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, or other relevant platforms
    • Assist with campaign setup, audience research, creative coordination, ad copy, and reporting
    • Track performance metrics and prepare simple insights or recommendations
    • Coordinate creative assets and copy for paid social campaigns
  • Website Maintenance and Website Design Support
    • Make basic website updates in WordPress or similar CMS platforms
    • Update page content, images, links, forms, metadata, blog posts, landing pages, and service pages
    • Perform QA on website updates across desktop and mobile
    • Identify broken links, formatting issues, form issues, page speed concerns, and user experience issues
    • Support landing page updates for SEO, ads, and campaign initiatives
    • Coordinate with designers or developers for more advanced updates
    • Maintain organized notes for website tasks, requests, and completed updates
  • Social Media Management
    • Help manage social media calendars
    • Draft captions, post copy, and content ideas
    • Schedule posts when needed
    • Coordinate graphics, creative assets, and approvals
    • Support recurring content workflows for client accounts
    • Track engagement and prepare light reporting when needed
  • Creative Asset Production and Coordination
    • Assist with creative briefs for graphics, ads, landing pages, social posts, and campaign materials
    • Coordinate with designers, editors, or internal team members to move creative tasks forward
    • Create or edit basic assets in tools such as Canva when appropriate
    • Maintain organized folders, asset links, and version control
    • Ensure creative assets match client brand guidelines and campaign requirements
  • Copywriting and Content Support
    • Draft website copy, blog outlines, social captions, ad copy, email copy, GBP posts, and landing page copy
    • Edit and proofread client-facing content for grammar, clarity, and brand tone
    • Repurpose content across channels when appropriate
    • Help maintain blog calendars and content production schedules
    • Use AI tools responsibly to support research, outlining, and drafting while still reviewing for quality and accuracy
  • Account and Project Management Support
    • Maintain task lists, recurring checklists, blog calendars, reporting calendars, and project updates
    • Help manage 7 to 10 client accounts consistently
    • Keep work organized in project management tools such as ClickUp, Asana, Trello, or similar platforms
    • Prepare weekly internal status updates
    • Draft client updates for review when needed
    • Ask clear questions when requirements are unclear
    • Document repeatable processes and help build SOPs

NOTE: All the responsibilities listed above represent the range of services and support activities this role may be involved in. The successful candidate will not be expected to perform all of these functions daily or for every client account. Workload and priorities will vary based on client needs, active projects, and agency priorities at any given time.

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of digital marketing experience, preferably in an agency environment (APPLICATIONS WITH PORTFOLIOS OF ANY OF THE FOLLOWING WILL BE PRIORITIZED: SEO Audit, Google Business Profile optimization work, Keyword Research or Content Plan, Website or Landing Page you helped updae, Ad copy or campaign reporting, Social media calendar or content, copywriting, or Creative brief or asset coordination sample)
  • Strong understanding of SEO, local SEO, and Google Business Profile optimization
  • Familiarity with AEO, AI search visibility, structured content, and entity-based SEO is preferred
  • Experience supporting Google Ads or PPC campaigns
  • Experience supporting paid social campaigns
  • Experience with WordPress or similar CMS platforms
  • Ability to make basic website content updates and perform QA
  • Strong copywriting, editing, and written English communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Experience managing multiple client accounts or recurring client work
  • Comfortable using Google Workspace and project management tools
  • Ability to work with Pacific time zone overlap
