Job Overview

We're seeking for an AI Prompt Engineer to design, build, and operationalize AI-driven workflows that eliminate manual processing and streamline high-volume business functions.

This is not a “prompt writer” role. This is a systems-level AI automation role focused on:

• Translating business processes into AI-executable workflows
• Building reusable prompt frameworks and AI agents
• Integrating LLMs into operational pipelines (finance, admin, reporting, client comms, data processing)
• Reducing operational load through scalable automation architecture

The successful candidate will act as a bridge between operations, data, and AI systems design.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM with 1 hour unpaid break | Australian Eastern Time

Responsibilities:

AI Workflow Automation

• Map end-to-end business processes and identify automation opportunities
• Convert manual workflows into AI-driven pipelines using LLMs (GPT, Claude, Gemini)
• Design reusable prompt libraries for bulk operations (e.g., document processing, reporting, summarization)

Prompt & Agent Engineering

• Build structured prompt systems for consistency, accuracy, and scalability
• Develop multi-step AI agents for recurring business tasks
• Optimize prompts for cost, speed, and reliability at scale

Systems Integration

• Work with tools such as Zapier, Make, n8n, Airtable, or custom APIs
• Integrate AI outputs into CRM, finance, and operational systems
• Support retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) implementations where needed

Process Optimization

• Identify bottlenecks in bulk workflows (data entry, reconciliation, reporting, client comms)
• Design AI-first alternatives to reduce manual labor dependency
• Implement QA frameworks for AI output validation

Continuous Improvement

• Test and iterate prompts based on performance metrics
• Document workflows and AI logic for team scalability
• Train internal staff on AI-enabled processes

Requirements

• 2–5+ years in AI automation, prompt engineering, or workflow engineering
• Strong understanding of LLM behavior (GPT, Claude, Gemini)
• Experience building automation workflows (Zapier / Make / n8n / Airtable / APIs)
• Experience in operations-heavy environments (finance, accounting, admin, BPO, SaaS preferred)

Nice to have:

• Python / JavaScript for automation scripting
• Experience with RAG systems / vector databases
• Background in accounting/finance operations
• Experience building AI agents or internal tools
• Knowledge of data pipelines or ETL systems
