CRM & Funnel Marketing Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced CRM & Funnel Marketing Specialist to build, manage, and optimize high-converting customer acquisition funnels.

This role is responsible for connecting the entire marketing journey — from Meta Ads traffic and landing pages through lead capture, email/SMS automation, CRM workflows, and sales follow-up.

The ideal candidate understands direct-response marketing, conversion optimization, and how to use data to improve funnel performance.

Client Overview:

A fast-growing online coaching business focused on scaling customer acquisition through data-driven marketing systems, automation, and optimized customer journeys.

The company uses digital marketing funnels, paid traffic, CRM automation, and structured sales processes to convert leads into long-term customers.

Schedule:

  • Mondays to Fridays, flexible schedule based on the client’s business hours (US Eastern Time, 40 hours per week)

Scope:

  • Own the full customer acquisition funnel from first click to sales opportunity
  • Improve conversion rates across each customer journey stage
  • Build scalable marketing automation systems
  • Maintain reporting dashboards and performance visibility
  • Support business growth through continuous funnel optimization

Responsibilities:

  • Build, manage, and optimize end-to-end marketing funnels focused on lead conversion
  • Connect Meta Ads campaigns with landing pages, quizzes, forms, applications, and CRM workflows
  • Create and improve customer journeys using email and SMS automation sequences
  • Build behavior-based automations triggered by customer actions and engagement
  • Manage CRM pipelines, tags, segmentation, and follow-up workflows
  • Analyze funnel performance and identify conversion improvement opportunities
  • Monitor metrics including:
    • Lead conversion rates
    • Funnel drop-off points
    • Cost per lead
    • Application completion rates
    • Sales pipeline movement
  • Perform A/B testing on funnel steps, messaging, and user experience
  • Collaborate with sales teams to improve lead handoff and follow-up processes
  • Prepare regular reports with insights and optimization recommendations

Requirements:

  • Proven experience building and optimizing marketing funnels
  • Strong understanding of direct-response marketing and customer journeys
  • Experience working with Meta Ads funnels and paid traffic workflows
  • Hands-on experience with landing page builders and funnel tools
  • Experience creating email and SMS automation sequences
  • CRM automation experience (GoHighLevel, HubSpot, ActiveCampaign, ClickFunnels, or similar)
  • Ability to analyze marketing data and make optimization decisions
  • Strong understanding of lead generation and conversion tracking
  • Excellent attention to detail and process management skills
  • Strong written English communication skills

Highly Regarded Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in coaching, fitness, subscription, or online program businesses
  • Experience building quizzes or application-based funnels
  • Copywriting experience for ads, landing pages, emails, and SMS campaigns
  • Meta Ads Manager experience
  • Sales pipeline optimization experience
  • Zapier/Make automation experience
  • Experience improving funnel conversion rates through testing
