Schedule
- Tuesday–Thursday (Initial Training); Monday–Friday (Post-Training). Start time: 9:00 AM or 10:00 AM AEST (20 hours per week).
Note: Flexible hours are available once fully trained as long as work is completed on time. Additional hours may be required during quarterly BAS periods.
Responsibilities
- Master Xero to perform comprehensive bookkeeping tasks
- Ensure pinpoint accuracy through regular account reconciliations
- Streamline document management using Dext and HubDoc
- Craft timely and precise Business Activity Statements (BAS)
- Provide critical financial insights to support business decisions
- Adapt to evolving business needs and take on additional financial tasks
Requirements
- Must have dual monitor setup
- Xero proficiency and enthusiasm for cloud-based accounting
- Hands-on experience with Dext and HubDoc
- Sharp understanding of Australian tax regulations, especially BAS
- Up-to-date antivirus software to ensure data security
- Eagle-eye for detail in financial record-keeping
- Strong communicator, adept at translating financial data for non-experts
- Self-starter with excellent time management skills
