Overview:
We are a growing Managed IT Services provider building a dedicated AI and automation practice to improve internal operations and deliver new AI-driven solutions for our clients. We are seeking an AI Automation Solutions Architect (Microsoft Fabric, Power Platform & LLMs) who can translate real business problems into practical AI, automation, and data solutions. This role combines solution architecture, experimentation, and hands-on development.
The ideal candidate is comfortable using modern AI tools (Claude, LLMs, AI-assisted coding) to rapidly prototype and build applications, while also reviewing, securing, and refining the underlying code and architecture. Initially, this role will focus on internal automation and AI initiatives, but will eventually expand to help lead AI and automation projects for external clients.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM | Harrisburg, PA Time | 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week | With one hour of unpaid break
Responsibilities:
- Design and build AI-driven automation solutions that improve internal efficiency and operational workflows
- Use LLMs and AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Claude, Claude Code) to rapidly develop prototypes, applications, and automation systems
- Architect and build solutions using the Microsoft ecosystem, including Microsoft Fabric (lakehouses, pipelines, models), Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse), and Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Graph integrations
- Develop modern web-based interfaces and dashboards generated with AI tools and refine them using modern frameworks where appropriate
- Implement AI-powered workflows using LLMs, RAG systems, and API integrations
- Connect systems and platforms using APIs, webhooks, and automation pipelines
- Identify opportunities to automate repetitive work and improve business processes through AI and automation
- Ensure solutions are secure, maintainable, and well-architected
- Document systems, data flows, and automation workflows clearly
- Collaborate with leadership to prioritize high-impact automation opportunities
- Help build and eventually lead the company’s AI services and automation capabilities for clients
Requirements:
- Strong hands-on experience building software, automation systems, or technical solutions
- Experience integrating LLMs and AI tools into real-world workflows
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude / Claude Code or similar AI coding tools
- Experience working with APIs, structured data (JSON), and system integrations
- Ability to design and implement automation pipelines and system integrations
- Strong problem-solving ability and the ability to translate business problems into technical solutions
- Experience building or working with modern web applications or front-end interfaces
- Ability to independently research, experiment, and implement new technologies
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical solutions clearly
- High-speed internet connection with a minimum of 100 MBPS is required
Preferred Technical Experience:
- Microsoft Power Platform: Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse
- Microsoft Fabric: lakehouses, data pipelines, and data models
- Microsoft 365 ecosystem (SharePoint, Teams, Entra ID)
- LLM development and orchestration
- Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems
- OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, or similar LLM APIs
- Microsoft AI / Azure AI services
- JavaScript, Python, or similar scripting languages
- API integrations and automation platforms
Candidates do not need to be experts in every area, but must demonstrate the ability to learn quickly, ask the right questions, and deliver working solutions.
