Job Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Google Ads Specialist to join their agency team and take ownership of a portfolio of approximately 12–20 client accounts across a range of industries. The successful candidate will be responsible for strategy development, campaign management, optimisation, reporting, and client-facing communication to ensure strong performance and client retention.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Melbourne Time, with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break (40 hours per week, 8 hours per day)
Responsibilities
- End-to-end management of Google Ads campaigns across Search, Performance Max, Display, YouTube and Remarketing.
- Develop and execute paid search strategies aligned with client objectives.
- Manage a portfolio of 12–20 client accounts while maintaining high service standards.
- Conduct keyword research, audience development, competitor analysis and account audits.
- Monitor campaign performance and implement ongoing optimisation strategies.
- Manage budgets and bidding strategies to maximise return on investment.
- Configure and troubleshoot conversion tracking through Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads.
- Prepare monthly reporting and performance insights for clients.
- Work closely with Account Managers, SEO Specialists and Creative teams to deliver integrated marketing outcomes.
- Participate in client meetings and provide strategic recommendations.
Requirements
- Minimum 4+ years of hands-on Google Ads experience.
- Previous agency experience managing multiple client accounts simultaneously.
- Strong knowledge of Search, Performance Max, Display, YouTube and Remarketing campaigns.
- Advanced understanding of Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager.
- Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and communicate performance effectively.
- Google Ads Certifications.
