Job Overview
Our client is seeking a highly capable Tech Support Assistant to lead internal system transitions and provide ongoing technical, administrative, and guest support. This role will act as the key internal champion for software migration from Guesty to Resly, while also supporting staff onboarding, troubleshooting, and system optimization across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, highly organized, and confident in training others while also handling guest-facing communication and backend system administration.

The client operates within the property management and short-term holiday rentals industry, supporting a fast-paced portfolio of guest accommodations across Australia. The business is focused on delivering seamless guest experiences through efficient systems, automation, and high-quality operational support. They are currently undergoing a technology transition to improve internal workflows, guest communication, and marketing automation.

Monday - Friday, flexible during client busines hours, Torquay Victoria (20 work hours per week)
Responsibilities
- Champion the transition and migration from Guesty to Resly software systems
- Onboard, train, and support internal staff on new IT systems and operational processes
- Provide day-to-day technical support and troubleshooting for the property management team
- Manage inbound guest communications and support guest experience queries when required
- Implement, configure, and maintain platforms such as ActiveCampaign and Conduit AI
- Maintain and optimize back-end systems, workflows, and marketing automation tools
- Act as the internal go-to person for all new software rollouts and system updates
- Support data accuracy and system integrity across all platforms
- Collaborate closely with the Australian-based property management team
Requirements
- Experience with PMS platforms such as Guesty or Resly (strong advantage)
- Previous experience in Property Management or Holiday Rentals (essential)
- Exceptional English communication skills for both training and guest interaction
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and explain solutions clearly to non-technical users
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn new systems
Highly proficient in Microsoft Outlook, OneDrive, Excel, and Word - Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
- Proven ability to learn complex systems quickly and train others effectively
