Overview
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Cold Caller / Appointment Setter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for reaching out to homeowners, identifying potential sellers, and scheduling qualified appointments for our sales team. The ideal candidate is confident on the phone, resilient in the face of rejection, and skilled at building rapport through meaningful conversations.
Schedule
- Full-time (35 hours/week), Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm PST with one hour of unpaid break.
Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound cold calls to homeowners using a provided script to identify potential property sellers
- Engage prospects in professional and meaningful conversations to assess their interest in selling
- Qualify leads and schedule appointments for the sales team to follow up
- Accurately document call outcomes, notes, and lead information in the CRM
- Maintain a consistent daily call volume to maximize outreach and lead generation efforts
- Provide feedback on common objections, prospect responses, and script performance to help improve results
- Ensure a smooth handoff of qualified leads to the sales team
- Call through provided lists of potential property sellers
- Follow established outreach processes and scripts
- Identify, qualify, and nurture homeowner leads interested in selling their properties
- Collaborate closely with the broader team to ensure seamless lead handoff and follow-up
- Contribute to ongoing process improvements through feedback and insights from prospect conversations
Requirements
- Previous experience in cold calling, telemarketing, appointment setting, or a similar outbound sales role (real estate experience is a plus)
- Fluent English with strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow a script while maintaining a natural, conversational approach
- Strong resilience and a positive attitude when handling objections and rejection
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail when recording call information
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Comfortable meeting daily outreach and performance goals
