Senior Corporate Bookkeeper (Multi-Entity)

Job Overview

We are seeking a high-caliber Senior Corporate Bookkeeper (Multi-Entity) to take full ownership of our books and multi-entity financial operations. In this role, you will navigate a complex environment, managing full-charge bookkeeping for product-based or manufacturing businesses scaling between $10M–$20M+ in annual revenue. The ideal candidate genuinely enjoys digging deep into financial details, proactive cost control, and ensuring pristine tax compliance. We want a strategic partner who treats the business like their own to optimize and protect our bottom line.

Schedule

Flexible within the client’s business hours EST time (20 hours/week)

Responsibilities

  • Ongoing Bookkeeping: Execute clean, organized, and near-daily bookkeeping updates across all corporate accounts.
  • Multi-Entity Accounting: Track, separate, and accurately allocate expenses across different entities and distinct LLC accounts.
  • Tax & Compliance Management: Stay on top of sales tax compliance, state filings, and corporate recurring expenses/fees.
  • Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare simple, transparent financial reports (P&L, Cash Flow) to regularly review numbers, goals, and operational improvements with leadership.
  • Cost Control & Internal Audit: Monitor ledgers proactively to flag unnecessary subscriptions, overspending, or financial discrepancies.
  • CPA Year-End Prep: Maintain pristine financial records throughout the year and package all necessary documentation/workpapers for the CPA at tax time.

Requirements

  • Professional Experience: Minimum 5+ years of solid experience in bookkeeping, corporate accounting, or financial operations.
  • Revenue Scale Experience: Proven track record managing full-charge bookkeeping for product-based or manufacturing businesses scaling between $10M–$20M+ in annual revenue.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong, demonstrable background in Multi-Entity / Multi-LLC accounting (handling intercompany transactions and expense separation across separate entities is a mandatory requirement).
  • Compliance Knowledge: Deep understanding of US sales tax frameworks, nexus tracking, and corporate expense tracking.
  • Software Proficiency: Advanced hands-on experience with cloud accounting platforms (QuickBooks Online or Xero) and advanced financial reporting tools/spreadsheets.
  • Core Traits: Highly detail-oriented and proactive. Must demonstrate true ownership of the numbers and look to actively participate in business growth rather than just executing automated tasks.
