Overview

We are seeking a driven and resilient Cold Caller / Appointment Setter to join our team to engage with insurance prospects through outbound calls, qualify leads, and schedule appointments for licensed sales agents. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, maintains a positive attitude through high call volumes, and is motivated to consistently achieve daily performance goals.

Schedule:

• Full-time (40 hours/week), Monday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm CST with one hour of unpaid break

Responsibilities

• Conduct high-volume outbound calls to aged insurance leads to identify and qualify interested prospects
• Gather essential prospect information needed for accurate insurance quote preparation
• Schedule qualified appointments and clearly communicate next steps with local sales agents
• Respond promptly to inbound calls and text message inquiries from prospects
• Maintain accurate records of lead activity, prospect information, and call outcomes within the CRM
• Consistently achieve daily performance goals, including generating a minimum of six qualified prospects per day
• Utilize the client's cloud-based phone system for outbound calls and text messaging
• Manage outreach to approximately 1,000 aged leads per month
• Serve as the first point of contact for prospective customers, representing the agency professionally
• Collaborate closely with a team of six in-house sales agents by delivering qualified, appointment-ready leads

Requirements

• Proven experience in cold calling, telemarketing, appointment setting, or a similar outbound sales role
• Strong verbal communication skills with clear and professional English
• Ability to confidently manage high call volumes while maintaining an engaging and positive attitude
• Resilient, persistent, and comfortable handling rejection
• Excellent attention to detail when collecting and documenting prospect information
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and stay organized
