Overview
Our client is seeking a dedicated, highly skilled financial professional to act as a strategic financial partner, supporting client decision-making beyond basic reporting while managing day-to-day bookkeeping. The ideal candidate will bring deep, practical experience in the U.S. financial ecosystem—including payroll systems, local software integrations, and client advisory—to help optimize U.S.-based financial workflows. This is a permanent work-from-home opportunity for a process-driven expert looking for a stable, long-term collaboration.
Schedule
Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM EST (includes a 1-hour unpaid break | 40 work hours per week)
Responsibilities
- Core Bookkeeping: Manage day-to-day bookkeeping while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and financial clarity across all client accounts.
- Month-End & Advisory: Lead month-end close and reconciliations, identifying trends, key variances, and actionable insights.
- Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage cash flow, providing proactive recommendations to improve client profitability.
- Profit First Implementation: Support the implementation and ongoing management of Profit First allocations and cash flow systems.
- Client Collaboration: Act as a financial partner, collaborating directly with clients during check-ins or advisory calls to review performance, explain financial health, and guide next steps.
- Workflow Optimization: Work seamlessly within QuickBooks Online and integrate operational tools to streamline accounting and business workflows.
Requirements
Experience & Technical Skills
- 5+ years of finance-related experience (accounting, finance, or advisory background).
- U.S. Accounting Expertise: Proven experience supporting U.S.-based accounting, bookkeeping, and tax-related workflows.
- U.S. Payroll Mastery: Hands-on experience managing U.S. payroll processes, specifically utilizing Gusto.
- Software Proficiency: Deep familiarity with QuickBooks and experience navigating/integrating operational platforms like GoHighLevel.
- Financial Literacy: Strong command of financial concepts such as cash flow management, budgeting, and allocations. Willingness to learn and rigorously apply the Profit First methodology.

- Client-Facing Advisory: Exceptional professional English communication skills, with the confidence to lead client advisory calls and explain complex financial data simply.
