Join our team as a Civil CAD Drafter/Designer and play a vital role in shaping residential communities by producing high-quality site development and grading plans for tract home projects. This part-time, remote role allows you to translate raw project data into permit-ready construction drawings while working closely with a collaborative project manager. If you are a proficient AutoCAD Civil 3D user who thrives independently, this is an excellent opportunity to showcase your expertise on a flexible, daily schedule.

Schedule:

• Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM Pacific Standard Time (20 hours per week)

Responsibilities

• Produce site development, land development, and grading plans for residential tract home projects
• Interpret raw project data and translate it into accurate, permit-ready construction drawings
• Incorporate markups and redline comments from the project manager into revised drawing sets
• Maintain drawing standards and ensure consistency across all plan sets
• Provide end-of-shift progress reports detailing completed tasks and project status
• Focus on tract home site development and permitting drawings
• Work within the client's time zone and follow established revision workflows
• Adapt to a variable project pipeline where workload may shift between active projects
• Deliver drawings that are ready for client review, markup, and eventual permit submission

Requirements

• Proven experience producing civil engineering and land development drawings for residential projects
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and the AutoCAD Architecture suite
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or direction
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality, accurate drawings
• Portfolio of sample drawings from previous site development or land development projects (APPLICATIONS WITH PORTFOLIOS WILL BE PRIORITIZED)
• Effective written communication skills for collaborating remotely with the project manager
