Outbound Sales Development Representative
Job Overview
Our client is looking for an Outbound Sales Development Representative to support their business acquisitions operation. In this role, you will focus on identifying and vetting potential companies to purchase, serving as the first point of contact for prospective sellers, and filtering out mismatches early in the process. Your efforts will help build and maintain a structured pipeline of qualified acquisition leads, ensuring prospects have required documentation (such as financial statements) before advancing them, ultimately freeing up the business owner's time to focus on high-level deal evaluation.
Schedule
Monday - Friday, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM CST (20 work hours per week)
Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound email outreach to prospective business sellers to schedule introductory calls
- Make initial vetting phone calls to assess whether acquisition targets meet predefined criteria
- Research and compile call lists of business owners who may be open to selling their businesses
- Manage calendar scheduling and coordinate meeting times between Angela and prospects
- Maintain organized records and notes from prospect interactions in Zoho and Google Drive
- Perform data entry and administrative tasks to support the acquisition pipeline
Requirements
- Experience in an administrative or executive assistant capacity with strong organizational skills
- Confident and professional phone manner for outbound calling and lead qualification
- Familiarity with Zoho and Google Drive
- High level of attention to detail when handling data and qualifying information
- Strong written communication skills for professional email outreach
- Ability to work independently and follow repeatable processes with minimal supervision
