Job Overview
Our client is looking for a dedicated Link Building Specialist to join their team on a part-time basis. This is a strictly link-building-focused role — they are not looking for an SEO generalist. The ideal candidate lives and breathes backlinks and has a proven track record of building high-quality, white-hat links that drive real results.
Schedule

Flexible within Client's business hours (20 work hours per week). Must be available to meet once every two weeks for alignment in Mountain Standard Time (Canada).
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute white-hat link-building campaigns from start to finish
- Conduct outreach to relevant websites, bloggers, and publishers to secure editorial backlinks
- Identify link-building opportunities through competitor analysis and niche research
- Build and maintain relationships with webmasters and content creators
- Track and report on backlink acquisition, domain authority growth, and campaign performance
- Ensure all link-building activity adheres strictly to white-hat practices and Google guidelines
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in link building or backlink acquisition
- Strong understanding of white-hat SEO principles and Google Webmaster Guidelines
- Experience with outreach strategies, including guest posting, HARO, and editorial link placements
- Familiarity with tools such as Ahrefs, Semrush, or Moz
- Ability to work independently and manage outreach pipelines with minimal supervision
- Strong written English communication skills for outreach correspondence
- No black-hat or gray-hat practices — non-negotiable

- Portfolio or case studies demonstrating backlink campaign results
- Experience working with international or English-speaking markets
