Job Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Marketing & CRM Coordinator to support the ongoing management of customer communications, CRM systems, customer retention initiatives, and revenue-generating marketing activities across both the service and Shopify divisions of the business.

The primary objective of this role is to generate revenue from the existing customer database through customer retention, customer reactivation, review generation, email marketing, and structured follow-up campaigns. This is an operational marketing and CRM role focused on customer engagement, database management, and campaign execution. It is not a content creation, graphic design, or social media strategy role. The successful candidate will take ownership of maintaining customer communication workflows, managing customer databases, executing email marketing campaigns, driving customer retention initiatives, and identifying opportunities to maximise customer lifetime value.

Schedule

  • Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM Melbourne Time (20 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

  • Manage customer marketing campaigns across Jobber and Shopify
  • Develop, coordinate, and execute email marketing campaigns to existing customer databases
  • Execute customer retention, reactivation, and re-engagement campaigns
  • Generate revenue opportunities from the existing CRM database through targeted marketing initiatives
  • Coordinate customer review generation campaigns and reputation management processes
  • Support customer engagement and follow-up campaigns
  • Identify opportunities for repeat purchases, referrals, upselling, and customer reactivation
  • Assist with promotional campaigns designed to increase customer lifetime value
  • Ensure customer communication remains consistent across both service and product divisions

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing CRM platforms and customer databases
  • Hands-on experience with Jobber
  • Hands-on experience with Shopify
  • Strong experience executing email marketing campaigns independently
  • Experience using Mailchimp, Klaviyo, ActiveCampaign, or similar email marketing platforms
  • Experience running customer retention, customer reactivation, and review generation campaigns
  • Experience generating revenue from existing customer databases
  • Strong organisational and workflow management skills
  • Professional written English communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and proactively with minimal supervision
  • Experience executing customer follow-up and customer engagement campaigns
  • Experience supporting Australian service-based businesses with CRM, customer retention, and eCommerce operations is highly preferred

  • Customer review and reputation management experience
  • Marketing campaign coordination and reporting experience
  • Experience working remotely with minimal supervision

  • Confident in setting up, managing, and optimising email marketing campaigns without requiring ongoing training or supervision

Success in the Role

The successful candidate will be able to independently manage CRM and email marketing activities from day one, drive customer engagement and retention initiatives, maintain accurate customer databases, and identify opportunities to generate additional revenue from existing customer relationships across both the service and Shopify businesses.
