Schedule

Monday - Friday, 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM EST (20 work hours per week)
Note: Highly flexible schedule consisting of approximately 4 hours per day within the designated EST business window.
Responsibilities
- CRM & Database Migration: Assist with transferring, auditing, and systematically organizing the agency's existing Google Sheets media database into Folk CRM.
- Media & Press Sourcing: Research and update press contacts to ensure all outlet details, operational roles, and relevant content beats remain completely accurate; identify strategic media contacts for targeted artist campaigns, single releases, and regional tour stops.
- Social Media Support: Support internal social media content creation by designing visually appealing press clip graphics and drafting engaging text captions for Instagram and other social platforms.
- Presentation Alignment: Format and design client-facing proposal decks and agency presentation materials, using provided copy to build polished, brand-aligned documents.
- Coverage Tracking & Analytics: Compile, monitor, and organize comprehensive client press coverage reports ("clips") spanning online publications, industry blogs, podcasts, and social channels.
- Campaign Operations: Provide general administrative, scheduling, and organizational tracking support across ongoing global PR campaigns as needed.
Requirements
- Industry Experience: 1-2 years of professional experience within a public relations, social media, marketing, or entertainment environment.
- Research & Information Mastery: Strong research habits with the ability to cleanly structure, filter, and organize large datasets inside spreadsheets or database systems.
- Software Literacy: Proficiency across the Google Workspace ecosystem (Sheets, Docs, Drive, Gmail) alongside experience building presentation decks in Google Slides, Keynote, or PowerPoint.
- Creative Asset Design: Practical experience creating clean social media graphics using design software tools such as Canva, Adobe Express, or similar platforms.
- Linguistic Standard: Strong written communication skills paired with an understanding of basic media relations, editorial workflows, and pop culture landscapes.
- Portfolio Requirement: A strong portfolio showcasing previous work in public relations, social media, marketing, media, or the entertainment industry is required.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working explicitly within the music press, touring media, talent management, or creator industries is highly regarded.
- Practical familiarity operating Folk CRM or similar contact relationship management platforms.
- Experience pulling media clips and creating client-facing recap reports.
- A strong, modern aesthetic eye for social media layouts, video trends (Instagram/TikTok), and presentation formatting.
