Spanish Bilingual Optometry Patient Coordinator

Overview:

We are seeking a bilingual Spanish Bilingual Optometry Patient Coordinator to support the daily operations of a busy optometry practice. This role involves managing patient scheduling, conducting outbound calls, providing exceptional customer service, and performing a variety of administrative and quality control tasks to ensure smooth clinic operations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer-focused, fluent in both English and Spanish, and has previous healthcare or medical office experience.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM PST (CA, USA) | With 1-hour unpaid break, 40 hours per week

Responsibilities:

  • Handle administrative tasks to support the optometry practice’s daily operations
  • Perform quality control checks on various administrative processes
  • Interact with patients, including scheduling appointments and follow-ups
  • Make outbound calls to both English and Spanish-speaking patients
  • Manage patient scheduling and maintain an organized appointment system
  • Provide customer service to address patient inquiries and concerns
  • Assist with general administrative duties as required by the practice

Requirements:

  • Fluency in both English and Spanish (speaking and writing)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and software for scheduling and administrative tasks
  • Patient-focused mindset with a dedication to outstanding customer service
  • Ability to consistently work 40 hours per week
  • Prior experience supporting healthcare or medical operations

  • Manage incoming and outgoing patient communications

  • Ensure quality control of administrative processes
