Job Overview

We are seeking a Lead Generation Specialist and Appointment Setter for a part-time, 20-hour-per-week role focused on high-quality lead generation for U.S. small businesses. Moving away from high-dial metrics, you will prioritize meaningful engagement and rapport-building to identify prospect pain points and schedule discovery appointments. As the first point of contact, you’ll deliver concise pitches and warm up prospects for our leadership team within a centralized CRM hub. This is a remote, consultative position with the potential to transition to full-time and earn performance-based incentives.

 

Job Highlights

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 am to 1:00 pm EST (20 hours per week)

Work Arrangement: Work from home

Contract: Independent Contractor

 

Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound calls to U.S. small business owners across all 50 states to generate interest in the company's suite of business services
  • Deliver a concise 30–45 second elevator pitch and engage prospects in meaningful conversation to build rapport
  • Identify each prospect's most pressing business need or pain point through active listening and thoughtful questioning
  • Schedule qualified discovery appointments with the company's leadership team
  • Log all prospect interactions and lead information into the centralized CRM hub accurately and promptly
  • Handle common entry-level prospect questions using provided FAQs and training materials while redirecting technical inquiries to the appropriate specialist

 

Requirements

  • Proven experience in outbound lead generation or appointment setting, preferably with U.S.-based small business clientele
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with clear, neutral English pronunciation
  • Strong active listening skills with the ability to read conversational cues and adapt tone accordingly
  • Humble, patient, and personable demeanor with a consultative rather than aggressive approach
  • Resilient and thick-skinned with the ability to handle rejection professionally
  • High level of integrity and transparency — no overpromising or manipulative sales tactics
