We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our Finance & Bookkeeping team. This is a key role responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with tax obligations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate bookkeeping records and financial transactions
  • Prepare and lodge BAS (Business Activity Statements) in a timely manner
  • Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations
  • Reconcile accounts and identify discrepancies
  • Process invoices, expenses, and payroll documentation
  • Prepare financial reports and statements
  • Liaise with accountants and tax advisors as required

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven bookkeeping experience
  • Strong knowledge of BAS preparation and lodgement
  • Experience in tax return preparation
  • Proficiency with accounting software
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Strong understanding of financial compliance requirements
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks
