Bookkeeper
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our Finance & Bookkeeping team. This is a key role responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with tax obligations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping records and financial transactions
- Prepare and lodge BAS (Business Activity Statements) in a timely manner
- Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations
- Reconcile accounts and identify discrepancies
- Process invoices, expenses, and payroll documentation
- Prepare financial reports and statements
- Liaise with accountants and tax advisors as required
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven bookkeeping experience
- Strong knowledge of BAS preparation and lodgement
- Experience in tax return preparation
- Proficiency with accounting software
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong understanding of financial compliance requirements
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks
