Overview

Join a growing company in the circular fashion space generating approximately $8 million in annual revenue during an exciting period of financial systems transformation. This remote role offers the opportunity to support essential bookkeeping functions and play a pivotal project-lead role in transitioning the company's accounting from cash to accrual basis.

Schedule: Part-time (20 hours/week), Mon-Fri 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM EST

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly bookkeeping tasks and support the monthly close process for the business.
• Lead and execute the transition from cash basis accounting to accrual basis accounting.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Reconcile accounts and ensure accurate categorization of financial transactions.
• Collaborate with management on financial reporting and accounting matters.

Requirements

• Proven experience performing bookkeeping for companies with similar revenue size and cost structure.
• Demonstrated experience successfully transitioning accounting systems from cash basis to accrual basis.
• Hands-on experience managing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Nice-to-Have: Knowledge of general accounting principles beyond standard bookkeeping functions.
• Nice-to-Have: Potential to develop into an accounting role as the business needs evolve.
