Job Overview

Our client is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support operations across five micro-businesses under a holding company. In this role, you will ensure all financial records are accurate and up to date, collaborate with CPAs during tax filing periods, and serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day bookkeeping inquiries.

Schedule

• Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST, with 1 hour unpaid break (40 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

• Reconcile bank accounts on a monthly basis across multiple business entities
• Categorize and code financial transactions on a weekly basis using QuickBooks
• Manage and reconcile credit card statements for individual and holding entities
• Process and record payroll transactions accurately across all micro-businesses
• Maintain organized and audit-ready financial records to support CPA tax filings
• Communicate progress, discrepancies, and updates proactively to management

Requirements

• Proven experience in bookkeeping with proficiency in QuickBooks
• Familiarity with U.S. banking standards and financial reconciliation processes
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and entities simultaneously
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote setting
