E-commerce Website Coordinator (Shopify & WordPress)

Job Overview

Our client is seeking a highly organized and proactive E-commerce Website Coordinator to support the ongoing management and growth of multiple product brands and digital platforms. This role combines website administration, e-commerce support, digital content management, basic graphic design, and product launch coordination. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining high-quality online experiences while ensuring product information, digital assets, and marketing content remain accurate, visually consistent, and up to date. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working across both technical website tasks and creative digital content projects.

Schedule

  • Monday - Friday,  8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, NZST (40 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

Website & E-Commerce Management

  • Manage and maintain Shopify and WordPress websites, including ongoing website updates and housekeeping
  • Create, upload, and maintain product pages, specifications, pricing, and website content accuracy
  • Organize collections, categories, filters, navigation, and templates for new product ranges
  • Build and update landing pages, homepage content, banners, promotional graphics, and website imagery
  • Conduct website quality assurance testing, including functionality, forms, downloads, and user experience checks

Digital Content & Asset Management

  • Upload and manage product photography, renders, PDFs, technical documents, and specification sheets
  • Prepare and optimize website-ready content and assets
  • Maintain structured digital asset libraries and file management systems
  • Coordinate website content updates across multiple brands
  • Support merchant partners with website-ready product assets and launch materials

Graphic Design Support

  • Create and edit website graphics, banners, promotional tiles, and supporting digital content
  • Resize, crop, optimize, and prepare images for web use
  • Produce simple marketing collateral and visual assets using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Maintain brand consistency across all digital touchpoints

SEO & Website Optimization

  • Update page titles, meta descriptions, and image alt text
  • Apply SEO best practices across websites and product content
  • Improve website content structure, readability, and user experience
  • Identify opportunities to improve website performance and content presentation

Product Launch & Merchant Support

  • Coordinate digital assets required for product launches
  • Assist with merchant website updates and product rollouts
  • Ensure product information remains consistent across channels
  • Help manage launch schedules and content deployment activities

Requirements

  • Proven experience with Shopify, WordPress, and e-commerce website management
  • Experience creating, updating, and maintaining landing pages and website content
  • Strong understanding of website formatting, digital asset optimization, and basic SEO principles
  • Proficiency with Canva, Adobe Photoshop, and web-ready graphic editing
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities independently
  • Portfolio demonstrating previous Shopify, WordPress, or e-commerce website projects

Highly Desirable

  • Experience using Adobe Illustrator and 3D rendering software such as SketchUp, Blender, or similar
  • Experience supporting product launches, website redevelopment, or migration projects
  • Experience working with product catalogues, technical specification sheets, and merchant or reseller networks
  • Industry experience within interiors, bathroom ware, construction, architecture, or home improvement sectors
