Job Description:

As a Shopify Store Manager (SEO & Product Listings), you will oversee the development, optimization, and day-to-day management of the company’s Shopify store.

You will play a key role in building the online shop from the ground up, managing product listings, implementing SEO strategies, and optimizing the customer shopping experience to drive online sales performance.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of Shopify, SEO, and e-commerce growth strategies who enjoys building scalable online retail operations in a fast-moving business environment.

Client Overview:

A growing retail business focused on building a diverse online marketplace offering everyday essentials, including clothing, food items, toiletries, and garden supplies. The company is currently in the early stages of expanding its digital presence and aims to establish a strong e-commerce foundation before scaling into future physical retail operations.

The business is seeking a Shopify E-commerce & SEO Manager to develop, optimize, and scale the online store while driving visibility, traffic, and sales growth.

Schedule:

• Mondays to Fridays, 9:00 am to 2:00 pm (Philippine time, 20 hours per week)

Scope & Engagement:

• Monday to Friday schedule aligned with Philippine business hours
• Focus on growing online sales and strengthening digital brand presence

Responsibilities:

• Shopify Store Management
• Optimize and manage the Shopify e-commerce platform to improve sales performance and user experience
• Handle overall store development, updates, and ongoing site maintenance
• Ensure the online shop remains functional, visually appealing, and conversion-focused

• SEO & Digital Optimization
• Implement SEO strategies to improve search visibility for products across multiple categories
• Conduct keyword optimization, on-page SEO, and content improvements to drive organic traffic
• Monitor SEO performance metrics and adjust strategies based on results

• Product Listings & Inventory Organization
• Manage product listings and categorization for clothing, food items, toiletries, garden supplies, and other essentials
• Ensure accurate product descriptions, pricing, images, and inventory information
• Maintain organized and user-friendly product navigation across the online store

• E-Commerce Growth & Reporting
• Implement marketing and optimization tactics to identify high-performing products and sales opportunities
• Monitor store performance, KPIs, and sales data to guide business decisions
• Provide regular reporting and recommendations directly to the business owner
• Support the long-term integration of the online store with future brick-and-mortar expansion plans

Requirements:

• Proven proficiency with Shopify and e-commerce platform management
• Strong SEO knowledge with 2–5 years of hands-on experience
• Experience building and scaling online stores from the ground up
• Familiarity with managing diverse product inventories across multiple categories
• Strong understanding of e-commerce optimization and customer experience best practices
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Preferred:

• Experience supporting startups or growing retail businesses
• Familiarity with digital marketing, analytics, or conversion optimization tools
