We are looking for someone who genuinely understands the rapidly evolving AI landscape — someone fluent in AI technologies, automation systems, integrations, APIs, workflows, and emerging platforms. The ideal candidate combines deep technical capability with strategic thinking and can transform complex AI concepts into scalable business solutions.

This is not a standard AI position. The role is part of a major innovation initiative designed to help shape the future direction of the business and redefine how technology is leveraged across operations, systems, and customer experiences.

Schedule: 8am to 5pm Sydney 

Responsibilities

• AI Solution Design: Lead the development, prototyping, and deployment of AI-driven solutions, intelligent automation systems, and workflows across the business.
• Ecosystem Integration: Build and connect cohesive AI ecosystems using APIs, integrations, modern models, and custom solutions.
• Tech Research: Continually evaluate emerging AI technologies, tools, platforms, large language models (LLMs), and industry trends.
• Strategic Collaboration: Partner with leadership to identify strategic innovation opportunities, translate business challenges into technical architecture, and contribute to the long-term roadmap.
• Operational Support: Provide technical guidance on AI implementation strategies and assist cross-functional teams in adopting AI tools to boost efficiency.

Must-Have Requirements

• Extensive technical background in software engineering, systems architecture, or engineering with AI technologies and automation systems.
• Deep understanding of AI integrations, APIs, LLMs, AI agents, machine learning systems, and workflow automation frameworks.
• Proven ability to build practical, scalable, and commercially valuable internal or customer-facing AI solutions.
• Strong communication skills to effectively translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Highly adaptable, analytical systems-thinker who can operate strategically while remaining hands-on.

Nice-To-Have Requirements

• Experience leading innovation or digital transformation initiatives within SaaS, cloud infrastructure, or enterprise technology.
• Familiarity with modern AI development frameworks, workflow orchestration tools, and data systems.
