This is a full-time remote position requiring a proactive, detail-oriented, and relationship-driven professional who can deliver a high-quality patient experience in every interaction.

Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM [Torrance, CA Time], with 1 hour unpaid break (40 work hours per week)
Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient treatment plans and guide patients throughout their treatment journey
- Review orthodontic insurance benefits, claims, ledgers, and payment breakdowns accurately
- Explain treatment costs, insurance coverage, financing options, and payment plans clearly to patients
- Maintain accurate patient financial records and ensure proper insurance claim submission and follow-up
- Build rapport with patients through friendly, professional, and confident communication
- Monitor patient progress and support virtual care workflows, including Invisalign Virtual Care and ClinCheck monitoring
- Collaborate closely with the doctor and internal team to ensure a seamless patient experience
- Handle inbound and outbound patient communication via phone, email, and messaging platforms
- Ensure all patient interactions reflect the practice’s positive and high-standard culture
Requirements
- Proven experience in orthodontic, dental, or medical coordination roles, with strong knowledge of insurance verification, claims processing, benefits, and patient ledgers
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain insurance-related calculations and provide professional patient support
- Friendly, upbeat, and relationship-focused personality with strong emotional intelligence and the ability to build trust with patients
- Experience using orthodontic software such as OrthoTrac or Adit is highly preferred; familiarity with Invisalign workflows, Virtual Care, or ClinCheck monitoring is a plus
- Highly organized, proactive, and able to work independently in a remote environment
