Job Overview:
As a Sales Appointment Setter, you will conduct high-volume outbound cold calls to qualify residential leads and secure appointments for our sales team. The client is a growing residential solar company focused on helping homeowners reduce energy costs through solar solutions. The business operates in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment with a strong emphasis on lead generation, appointment setting, and customer engagement.
Schedule:
- Wednesday - Sunday, 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM PST [Pacific Standard Time (Las Vegas)] (40 hours per week)
Responsibilities:
Outbound Calling & Lead Qualification
- Focus on outbound cold calling and appointment generation for residential solar leads.
- Perform high-volume outbound cold calling to residential solar leads.
- Deliver persuasive pitches to homeowners to generate interest in solar services.
- Qualify prospective customers based on interest, eligibility, and appointment readiness.
- Build rapport quickly while maintaining professional and engaging conversations.
Appointment Setting & Follow-Up
- Schedule and confirm appointments for the sales team.
- Follow up consistently with warm and pending leads to maximize conversion opportunities.
- Maintain organized lead pipelines and ensure timely follow-up activities.
CRM & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of all lead interactions within the dialer and CRM systems.
- Track appointment outcomes, follow-up status, and lead progression.
- Ensure all customer notes and communication records are updated in real time.
Performance & Team Collaboration
- Consistently meet daily dial targets and weekly appointment-setting KPIs.
- Understand that performance is measured directly through daily KPIs, call activity, and appointment conversion rates.
- Collaborate and maintain direct communication with the business owner and sales team regarding campaign performance, outreach strategy, and lead quality.
- Adapt outreach strategies and scripts based on feedback and performance metrics.
- Seize the opportunity to contribute to the growth of a fast-scaling solar sales operation.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in outbound telemarketing, appointment setting, or sales
- Prior experience or familiarity with the residential solar industry preferred
- Excellent verbal English communication and active listening skills
- Strong objection-handling and appointment-closing abilities
- Experience using dialer systems and CRM platforms
- High-energy, resilient, and target-driven mindset
- Ability to work independently in a remote work-from-home environment
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills
Preferred:
- Experience working in high-volume outbound sales campaigns
- Familiarity with residential energy, home services, or solar lead qualification processes
