Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly creative and results-driven E-commerce Marketing Specialist to lead and execute end-to-end digital marketing initiatives for a growing e-commerce business. This role is ideal for someone with strong hands-on experience in Google Ads, SEO, AI Optimization (AIO), email marketing, and visual content creation.
The successful candidate will take ownership of digital campaign strategy, execution, optimization, and reporting while driving online visibility, customer engagement, and revenue growth. You will collaborate closely with the e-commerce team to align marketing initiatives with product, marketplace, and website strategies.
Schedule:
- Mondays to Fridays, flexible schedule within the client’s business hours (Australian Eastern Time, 40 hours per week)
Responsibilities:
- Digital Advertising & Campaign Management
- Plan, launch, manage, and optimize Google Ads campaigns to increase targeted traffic, lead generation, and online sales
- Monitor campaign performance, analyze KPIs, and implement data-driven optimizations to improve ROI
- Conduct A/B testing on ad creatives, landing pages, and promotional strategies
- SEO & AI Optimization (AIO)
- Develop and execute SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and website visibility
- Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis to identify new growth opportunities
- Implement on-page and off-page SEO improvements across website content and product pages
- Optimize digital content for emerging AI-driven platforms and search experiences including ChatGPT, Gemini, and other AI search tools
- Stay current with evolving SEO and AI optimization best practices and proactively recommend improvements
- Email Marketing & Content Creation
- Create and manage email marketing campaigns including promotional newsletters, automated flows, and seasonal campaigns
- Design banners, promotional graphics, website assets, and marketing materials using Canva
- Develop compelling marketing copy that aligns with brand messaging and conversion goals
- Create visual assets for website updates, campaigns, and promotional activities
- Strategy & Reporting
- Identify new marketing opportunities, trends, and creative strategies to increase brand awareness and online revenue
- Provide regular reporting on campaign performance, website traffic trends, SEO progress, and actionable insights
- Analyze customer engagement metrics and recommend continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with the e-commerce specialist to ensure marketing efforts align with product launches, promotions, and platform strategies
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in digital marketing for e-commerce businesses
- Strong hands-on experience managing Google Ads campaigns
- Solid understanding of SEO best practices, including technical, on-page, and off-page optimization
- Familiarity with AI Optimization (AIO) strategies and emerging AI search trends
- Experience creating and managing email marketing campaigns
- Proficiency in Canva for designing marketing assets, including email banners, promotional graphics, and website visuals
- Excellent written communication and copywriting skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively
- Creative mindset with the ability to develop innovative marketing ideas and strategies
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with Shopify or other e-commerce platforms
- Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO tools
- Experience with marketing automation platforms and email campaign analytics
- Understanding of conversion rate optimization (CRO) principles
