Social Media and Content Manager

Overview

We are seeking a creative and tech-savvy Social Media & Content Manager to lead our digital presence, with a primary focus on an expanding real estate brand. This role is perfect for a dynamic creator who excels at short-form video production, audience engagement, and leveraging modern AI tools to maximize content efficiency and performance.

Schedule: Flexible between 8AM-5PM Saskatchewan, Canada Time (CST)

Responsibilities

Social Media Management

  • Manage and maintain social media accounts across Facebook and Instagram
  • Plan, schedule, and publish engaging content consistently
  • Monitor social media activity, messages, comments, and engagement
  • Help grow audience reach, engagement, and brand visibility
  • Maintain brand consistency across all platforms and businesses

Content Creation

  • Create engaging content including graphics, captions, reels, short-form videos, and promotional materials
  • Develop content primarily focused on the real estate business, while also supporting additional business brands as needed
  • Repurpose existing content into multiple formats for different platforms
  • Assist with content calendars and campaign planning
  • Stay updated on current social media trends and platform best practices

AI Utilization & Digital Marketing

  • Utilize AI tools to streamline content creation, editing, copywriting, research, and workflow efficiency
  • Implement AI-assisted strategies for social media growth and engagement
  • Support automation and optimization of repetitive marketing tasks where appropriate
  • Research and test emerging AI tools relevant to marketing and content production

Collaboration & Reporting

  • Work closely with the business owner to align content with branding and business goals
  • Provide regular updates on content performance and engagement metrics
  • Assist with marketing ideas and strategic social media initiatives

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing social media accounts for businesses or personal brands
  • Strong content creation skills, particularly for Facebook, Instagram, and short-form video platforms (APPLICATIONS WITH PORTFOLIOS WILL BE PRIORITIZED)
  • Experience using AI tools for content creation, marketing, or workflow optimization
  • Familiarity with Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar content tools
  • Strong copywriting and caption-writing abilities
  • Understanding of social media algorithms, engagement strategies, and current trends
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple brands/projects simultaneously
  • Strong organizational and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting real estate, hospitality, lifestyle, or personal brands
  • Experience creating reels, TikTok-style videos, or video editing content
  • Familiarity with social media analytics and performance tracking
  • Knowledge of paid social advertising is considered an asset
