Insurance Customer Service Representative

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Insurance CSR / Virtual Assistant to support daily insurance agency operations. This role is ideal for someone with prior insurance agency experience who is comfortable handling client communication, policy servicing, renewals, and administrative support in a fast-paced remote environment.

Schedule: Part-time (20 hours/week), Monday to Friday 10am to 2pm EST

Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound phone calls professionally, assist clients, and gather information needed to generate insurance quotes
  • Support policy servicing tasks including providing declarations pages, responding to client inquiries, and managing email communication
  • Remarketing client renewals by updating renewal information in QuoteRush, downloading auto-generated quotes, and sending renewal correspondence
  • Perform accurate data entry in Client Dynamics, including updating policies, creating new client profiles, and adding commercial policies
  • Maintain organized digital records by e-filing documents across Client Dynamics and QuoteRush
  • Prepare and send DocuSign packets for applications, renewals, and policy documentation
  • Ensure all inbound inquiries are handled promptly to minimize missed business opportunities

Requirements

  • 1–2+ years of experience working in an insurance agency environment
  • Hands-on experience with Client Dynamics and QuoteRush, this is non-negotiable
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with confidence handling live phone calls
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Familiarity with DocuSign or similar electronic signature platforms
  • Comfortable managing both personal and commercial lines servicing tasks
