Job Description:

As a Cold Caller / Appointment Setter, you will play a critical role in generating new business opportunities by engaging directly with small-to-medium HVAC companies across the United States. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct outbound cold calls, identify business challenges related to marketing and operations, and qualify prospects for the senior sales team.

This role combines outbound sales, lead qualification, CRM management, and prospect research. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, confident speaking with business owners, and capable of managing a consistent outreach pipeline while maintaining accurate records and reporting.

Responsibilities:

Outbound Calling & Appointment Setting

  • Conduct outbound cold calls to small-to-medium HVAC businesses across the United States
  • Engage business owners and decision-makers in professional sales conversations
  • Identify pain points related to online marketing, lead generation, and business flow management
  • Qualify prospects based on established criteria, including company size and business fit
  • Schedule qualified appointments for the senior sales team
  • Follow up with prospects as needed to maximize appointment conversion rates

Lead Management & CRM Administration

  • Log all call activities, notes, and outcomes accurately within the CRM
  • Maintain organized prospect records and lead status updates
  • Capture and provide call recordings for quality assurance and coaching purposes
  • Ensure all prospect information remains accurate and up to date

Lead Research & Pipeline Support

  • Assist with manual lead list building and prospect research when required
  • Verify business information and qualification requirements
  • Support ongoing pipeline development through proactive outreach activities
  • Collaborate with leadership to refine outreach strategies and targeting

Requirements:

  • 2–5 years of experience in sales, telemarketing, appointment setting, or business development
  • High-level English proficiency with a professional and confident phone presence
  • Proven ability to engage business owners and effectively handle objections
  • Experience using dialers, CRM platforms, and lead management tools
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Comfortable working consistently during U.S. business hours
  • Reliable internet connection and professional remote work setup

Preferred:

  • Experience selling marketing, SaaS, technology, or business services
  • Familiarity with HVAC, trades, or home service industries
  • Previous experience with lead generation and prospect list building
