Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Appointment Setter to support a fast-paced insurance sales operation focused on outbound lead generation and qualification. This role is responsible for conducting high-volume outbound calls, pre-qualifying prospects, and performing live call transfers to licensed insurance agents.
The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, experience handling outbound sales campaigns, and the ability to maintain professionalism while following structured scripts and compliance guidelines.
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8 AM to 5 PM
Client Time-zone: US Eastern
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct high-volume outbound dialing using age survey lead lists.
- Pre-qualify potential clients by asking screening questions related to smoking status and general medical conditions.
- Verify whether prospects maintain an active bank account for qualification purposes.
- Perform live call transfers to licensed insurance agents when leads meet qualification criteria.
- Schedule follow-up appointments when live transfers cannot be completed immediately.
- Accurately document call outcomes, lead information, and notes within the CRM system.
- Follow approved call scripts while maintaining a confident, professional, and engaging communication style.
- Meet or exceed daily dialing, transfer, and appointment-setting performance targets.
- Coordinate directly with insurance agents to ensure smooth lead handoff processes.
- Participate in ongoing training and coaching sessions to improve conversion and qualification performance.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in outbound sales, telesales, appointment setting, or sales development.
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and effectively with international stakeholders.
- Strong objection-handling and lead qualification abilities.
- Experience using dialers, CRM platforms, and sales tracking tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in CRM documentation.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and professional home office setup.
