Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Property Management Assistant to support the daily operations of a growing property management portfolio. This role is ideal for someone with prior property management experience who enjoys working with tenants, coordinating maintenance, and keeping administrative processes organized and efficient. You'll play a key role in supporting the property manager by handling tenant communications, coordinating maintenance activities, managing documentation, and helping reduce the overall administrative workload across the portfolio.
Schedule:
- Monday - Friday 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM EST (Eastern Time Zone)
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process lease agreements, property management agreements, and rental license renewals
- Coordinate maintenance requests, including vendor scheduling and tenant follow-up
- Communicate with tenants regarding lease renewals, inspections, and general inquiries
- Schedule and coordinate lead inspections and property walkthroughs
- Maintain organized records and documentation across the property portfolio
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to ensure smooth property management operations
Requirements:
- Previous experience in property management or as a property management assistant
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail, particularly when handling leases and legal documentation
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Comfortable using cloud-based phone systems and communication tools
