Scheduling Coordinator
About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and organized Scheduling Coordinator to support daily staffing operations within a healthcare environment. This role is responsible for monitoring schedules, coordinating with workers to fill open shifts, and ensuring clients receive consistent coverage and care.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, communicative, and comfortable managing multiple scheduling tasks across different communication channels.
Work Schedule: Part-time (20 hours/week), Monday to Thursday, 5 hours a day and flexible during client business hours
Responsibilities
- Monitor the healthcare scheduling system daily to identify open and unfilled shifts
- Coordinate with workers to fill vacant shifts through chat, phone calls, email, and system requests
- Ensure all client shifts are properly staffed to maintain continuity of care
- Communicate scheduling updates and changes to clients, workers, and internal team members
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date scheduling records across all platforms
- Support recruitment efforts through candidate outreach and coordination as the role expands
- Assist with general administrative and scheduling support tasks as needed
Requirements
- Previous experience in scheduling, workforce coordination, or administrative support
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Comfortable working during Canadian business hours
- Experience using scheduling systems, CRMs, or VoIP phone systems is a plus
