Bookkeeper with Accounting Background

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate daily bookkeeping records and financial transactions
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
- Transition and support shift from cash basis to accrual basis accounting methodologies
- Prepare financial reports and statements for management review
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Collaborate with accounting team on month-end and year-end closing processes
Required Qualifications:
- Proficiency in bookkeeping practices and principles
- Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals
- Experience with both cash and accrual accounting methods
- Proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheet applications
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA certification or progress toward accounting credentials
- Experience in a technology-focused environment
