Job Description
You’ll be the voice and organizational backbone of a forward-thinking law firm, directly supporting client relationships while helping implement technology solutions that drive efficiency. This role offers genuine growth potential – start part-time and expand to full-time as you demonstrate your impact. You’ll work directly with legal professionals who value precision, innovation, and exceptional client service.

Schedule: Monday to Friday - 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST (7 paid hours per day with 1 hour unpaid break)
Client Timezone: Eastern Time (Ontario)

Responsibilities

  • Handle incoming client calls and represent the firm with professionalism and legal awareness
  • Manage email correspondence and electronic communications with clients and partners
  • Organize and maintain legal documents, case files, and filing systems with meticulous attention to detail
  • Build and optimize automations within legal software systems to improve firm efficiency
  • Implement new legal technology solutions and streamline existing workflows
  • Sort and categorize legal materials ensuring accuracy and proper documentation
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support across all firm operations
  • Collaborate on technology initiatives that enhance client service and operational effectiveness

Requirements

  • Basic legal terminology knowledge and understanding of legal processes
  • Exceptional attention to detail and meticulous approach to document handling
  • Strong verbal communication skills for professional client interactions
  • Technology-savvy with genuine interest in legal tech implementation and automation
  • Experience with Gmail, Google Drive, and ideally Clio legal case management software
  • Well-spoken with professional phone manner suitable for client representation
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of accuracy
  • Bonus if you have experience with legal document preparation or paralegal background
