Overview
Join our client, who specializes in providing a diverse range of design services—including architectural modeling, product development, interior design, and commercial space planning—with a focus on transforming simple concepts into functional and aesthetically pleasing designs. You’ll become the organizational backbone supporting project managers who handle high-impact construction projects.
This role requires a self-starting attitude, confidence in your skills and experience, and the ability to be a strong contributor within the company. Our client is looking for a detail-oriented professional to work directly with a collaborative team, with the potential to grow from part-time to full-time as you prove your value to the organization.
Schedule:
- Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM Central Time (Fort Worth, TX. 20 hours per week)
Responsibilities
- Project Documentation: Issue change orders for ongoing construction projects and ensure all documentation is properly filed and submitted.
- Procurement Support: Create and manage purchase orders and budget for project materials and services.
- Information Management: Manage and streamline data flowing into project managers’ inboxes to ensure priority items are addressed.
- System Administration: Coordinate project-related administrative tasks through the company’s Notion workspace.
- Team Communication: Communicate with team members via Slack for real-time project updates and coordination.
- Document Processing: Handle PDF processing and document management using Adobe tools.
- Project File Management: Maintain a database of projects with files and documents properly filed and stored in the proper Project File.
- Administrative Support: Support project managers with calendar coordination, meeting scheduling, and maintaining organized project files.
Requirements
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Experience with Adobe PDF tools for document processing
- Strong skills in Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Meets
- Excellent communication skills for Slack-based team collaboration
- Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to understand systems logic
- Ability to work independently while checking in for priorities and guidance
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Qualifications:
- Construction or project administration experience
- Familiarity with project management workflows
