Job Description:

As a Marketing Assistant, you will support the ongoing distribution and organization of content across multiple platforms including social media, podcasts, blogs, newsletters, and online courses.

You will help maintain a consistent digital presence, manage scheduling tools, repurpose existing content into new formats, and contribute creative ideas that support audience growth and engagement.


Responsibilities:

Social Media & Content Scheduling

  • Schedule and distribute weekly blog and fortnightly podcast content across social media platforms
  • Manage social media scheduling tools such as Metricool to ensure timely and strategic content posting
  • Monitor social channels and support ongoing audience engagement initiatives

Content Repurposing & Digital Assets

  • Repurpose written content into website blog posts and digital ebooks using Canva templates
  • Support content formatting and publishing across multiple digital channels
  • Maintain consistency with existing brand guidelines and templates

Online Course & Platform Management

  • Upload and organize course materials and resources within Thinkific
  • Assist with maintaining a clean and organized online learning platform
  • Coordinate digital assets and educational content updates

Newsletter & Audience Growth

  • Draft and format Substack newsletters to support audience engagement and follower growth
  • Assist with content planning tied to marketing campaigns and book promotion initiatives
  • Suggest new content ideas and promotional opportunities proactively

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in social media management and content distribution
  • Proficiency with Canva, Thinkific, Substack, and scheduling tools such as Metricool or MeetEdgar
  • Strong written communication and content formatting skills
  • High attention to detail and organizational ability
  • Ability to work independently and proactively contribute ideas
  • Comfortable managing recurring weekly marketing tasks

Preferred:

  • Experience supporting personal brands or small businesses
  • Background in health, wellness, lifestyle, or educational industries

Scope & Engagement:

  • Part-time role (approximately 20 hours per week)
  • Flexible schedule aligned with NSW business hours
  • Support content distribution across social media, blogs, podcasts, newsletters, and ebooks
  • Assist with audience growth and upcoming book launch initiatives
  • Work closely with the business owner to align weekly marketing priorities and campaigns
  • Operate within existing systems, templates, and workflows already established by the business
