Our client is looking for a detail-oriented AU Bookkeeper to manage financial records and bookkeeping tasks for their growing service-based business. This is a part-time role requiring 20 hours per week with the potential to transition to more commitment based on performance and business needs.

Client Overview

Our client operates a growing yard care and construction services company based in Australia. They are seeking to build their administrative and operational support team to improve efficiency and allow the business owner to focus on core operations.

Schedule

• Monday - Thursday, 4 hours daily within 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM AEST (20 hours per week)

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks and maintain accurate financial records.
• Process and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare financial reports and summaries as needed.
• Maintain organized documentation of all financial transactions.
• Communicate regularly with the business owner regarding financial status and any issues requiring attention.

Requirements

• Minimum 2-5 years of proven bookkeeping experience.
• Proficiency with bookkeeping software and tools.
  
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and financial record management.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience working with construction or service-based businesses.
• Familiarity with Australian accounting standards and practices.
