Job Overview
As a Healthcare Credentialing & Data Entry Specialist, you will support the onboarding and compliance processes for healthcare professionals by managing credential documentation, maintaining organized digital records, and ensuring staffing files remain accurate and up to date. This role requires a highly detail-oriented and organized professional who can efficiently manage sensitive information while supporting internal administrative workflows. You will work closely with nurses and the internal staffing team to collect, verify, and organize required documentation, helping reduce onboarding backlogs and maintain compliance standards. This position is ideal for someone comfortable working independently in a remote environment while handling repetitive administrative tasks with accuracy and consistency.
Schedule: 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM Eastern Time, Monday through Friday, with a 30-minute paid break
Responsibilities:
- Input and maintain healthcare professional credentials and documentation into the company's staffing software
- Organize and manage employee files within the secure cloud storage platform (OneHub), ensuring all documents are properly filed and up to date
- Track credential expiration dates and flag upcoming renewals to keep compliance records current
- Communicate internally with nurses (RNs, LPNs, CNAs) to collect or verify required documentation
- Create and maintain organized digital folders for new and existing staff profiles
- Support the in-office team by reducing the administrative backlog associated with onboarding healthcare workers
Requirements:
- Prior experience in data entry within a healthcare or medical staffing environment (must-have).
- High level of attention to detail, especially when handling sensitive credentialing information
- Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple records simultaneously
- Ability to follow documented processes and training provided by the team
- Comfortable working independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision
- Strong written communication skills for internal correspondence
