Overview
Join a growing cleaning business based in British Columbia, Canada, as a part-time Administrative Assistant. In this role, you will streamline daily operations by managing customer inquiries, scheduling appointments, and handling light bookkeeping. It is a fantastic opportunity to work directly with the business owner and play a key role in maintaining excellent client relationships.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 4 hours a day (flexible within 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM Pacific Time)
- Part-time role (20 hours/week) with potential to transition to full-time
Responsibilities:
- Manage customer service inquiries and maintain positive client relationships for the cleaning business
- Coordinate and maintain calendars, schedules, and appointment bookings
- Support light social media management to maintain brand presence and consistency
- Maintain accurate records of client names, contact details, and service history
- Handle basic data entry and organizational tasks to streamline daily operations
- Assist with simple bookkeeping and administrative record-keeping as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an administrative or virtual assistant role
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Familiarity with calendar and scheduling tools
