Job Overview

Our client is looking for an Organic Social Media Content Coordinator to support their in-house team with day-to-day social media management tasks. This role involves handling organic social media content creation and management for high-end fashion and food brands. The position focuses on supporting the existing team by taking on routine social media tasks to allow the team to focus on higher-level strategic work. The ideal candidate will work closely with the internal team and must be comfortable with high-volume, high-quality output expectations. A big focus for the client is maintaining a high standard of creative thinking and brand sensitivity across all accounts, so taste, communication and attention to detail are extremely important.

Client Overview

Our client is a creative marketing agency operating at the intersection of fashion and food. They manage restaurants in Australia on retainer and work with fashion brands on campaigns, social content, and ads content on a project basis. They specialize in organic social media growth and storytelling, building brands without paid advertising. They work with top-tier operators in Australia and maintain high-end work output standards.

Schedule

  • Monday - Friday, Flexible Hours (To be determined based on business needs) AEST (40 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

  • Manage social media accounts for fashion and food brands on a day-to-day basis.
  • Create and schedule organic social media content, including posts, stories, and other platform-specific content.
  • Support the team with routine social media tasks and content coordination.
  • Assist with social media storytelling and brand-building strategies.
  • Collaborate with the internal team to ensure brand consistency and quality standards are met.
  • Handle administrative social media tasks to free up capacity for the in-house team.

Requirements

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in social media management or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of organic social media growth strategies and content creation.
  • Ability to produce high-quality work consistently and meet demanding standards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working in fast-paced social-first environments with high work volume where content performance and storytelling matter equally
  • Strong visual taste and understanding of premium brand positioning, particularly across hospitality, fashion, lifestyle and culture-led brands
  • Understands contemporary social media culture beyond just scheduling and admin tasks

Nice-to-have

  • Previous experience working with fashion or food brands.
  • Background working in or with creative marketing agencies or similar businesses.
  • Experience managing social media for premium or luxury brands.
  • Familiarity with Australian market trends and preferences.
  • Bonus if they have exposure to other creative / marketing agencies, short form video workflows, creator-led content or working alongside creative teams
